Add your child as a MySpace Friend

You want your child to have a private profile to reduce predator risk.
You also want to be able to view your child’s profile.

Here’s how:

  • Log in to your MySpace account
  • Go to your child’s MySpace Page
  • Click on “Add to Friends”
  • Your child will receive the friend request and will need to approve it.
  • Then, You will be able to access your child’s private profile.

TIPS:

  • Comments can be seen by all of their friends, you may want not want to comment them.
  • Use MySpace Email instead. Emails can only be seen by them.
  • You may want to keep your Display name low key. Use something that wouldn’t embarass them. Your name and picture will be displayed on their MySpace friend list. You want to preserve their dignity. Most o f the time, this matters more to middle schoolers than high schoolers.
